Riverside paths, a borrowed bicycle and a proposal story told again for the camera. Here is how it comes together, step by step.
The first ten minutes
Most people feel awkward for the first few frames, and that is completely normal. I use that time for wide shots, walking and small talk, so the camera becomes part of the background. By the time we reach the second location the photographs start to look like you rather than like someone standing still for a stranger.
Light as the guide
Belgrade has wonderful evening light. It falls low across the rivers, warms the old façades and turns the fortress walls gold. I time sessions around it, but overcast days are just as welcome: soft cloud is the most flattering light there is, and the colours of the city become calmer and richer.
Small moments
The frames people treasure most are rarely the posed ones. A laugh between two prompts, a hand reaching for a coat, a glance back at the river. I keep shooting through those in-between moments, because that is where the real story of the day sits.
After the walk
Within two weeks you receive a private online gallery with every selected image edited by hand. You can download, share and order prints directly from it, and the gallery stays online so you can come back to it whenever you want to remember the day.
Who it is for
Couples, families, solo travellers and anyone who wants honest photographs of themselves in a beautiful place. You do not need any experience in front of a camera. You only need comfortable shoes and a little curiosity about the city.
